LETTER C OF A-Z OF FOOD IDEAS FOR TODDLERS

LETTER C OF A-Z OF FOOD IDEAS FOR TODDLERS
This is our A-Z of food ideas for toddlers! This is our Letter C spread, and we'll be embarking on a journey through the entire alphabet. We'll be shopping together, cooking together, and, of course, eating together.

For this spread, we decided to make CHRISTMAS trees out of CUCUMBER, CARROTS and CHEESE! We also shopped at COLES together to get all the ingredients we needed for our Letter C themed spread!

We also made strawberry CREAM CHEESE dip with CHARCOAL and sesame CRACKERS, CARROT, CELERY and CUCUMBER sticks for dipping.

And for a sweet treat, we had some mini COOKIES.

To make the Cucumber Christmas Trees

Cut out some carrots and cheese with a small star shaped cutter.

Thinly slice a large cucumber with a vegetable peeler.

Get small cocktail skewers and add a carrot, fold over one (or two if not long enough) cucumber slices, folding gradually smaller before putting the skewer through and adding a cheese star to top!

Creating letter-themed meals has been so much fun for my kids. It has been a brilliant way to engage them before introducing new foods and doing it together builds so much trust when it comes to serving up food.

By focusing on a particular letter of the alphabet, we have been able to work on our vocabulary and make some unique learning opportunities.

Your kids will have so much fun shopping, cooking and eating with a Letter themed meal, so give it a try! Have fun with it!
